18 year old South African DJ/producer extraordinaire, Culoe de Song is steadily becoming a prominent DJ on the underground dance music scene in Europe. The Durban native releases his much-waited EP on Japanese record label Mule Musiq on September 28.
Titled ‘The Fallen Shiren’ the EP is anticipated to offer Culoe de Song (real name Culolethu Zulu) much needed leverage to tap into Asian markets, rated amongst the fastest growing music markets in the world. The title track is probably the best on the installment and is already receiving rave previews online.
This time Culoe offers a modernized sound, with an emotional deep house feel, incorporating his usual piano riffs with haunting African instruments and chorus.
