Life design’, the second single from the platinum selling ‘Stardust Galaxies’ has been added to MTV Europe’s rotation playlist.
The video was the result of the collaboration between The Parlotones and KFC forming part of the ‘Be Inspired Campaign’.
Directed by veteran Eric van Wyk, 35 dancers were used to create the illusion of consistent movement in the video. Utilising a rig that was 100m high and shot over three days, the music video used the latest technique for delivering the final image of a dancer roughly based on a Zoetrope. A camera had to travel in a circular motion at just the right speed in order to reveal the dancer at a different stage of his or her performance.
‘Life Design’ is the first European single currently going to radio all over Europe.
The Parlotones have recently returned from Midem in Cannes, France where they performed live to over 2000 of the world’s music industry elite.
They have also just secured a distribution deal for their red wine ‘Giant Mistake’ with a major German retailer. The white wine, ‘Push Me To The Floor’ will be launched nationwide in April 2010.
With major developments planned locally and abroad The Parlotones are set to be the global break out band of 2010.
