TENDAI SEAN JOE VISITS ZIMBABWE

The face of Trail of Hope, a 16 country motorbike ride that seeks to raise awareness on the plight of street children visited his home country Zimbabwe recently.

Few people would be surprised to learn that Tendai Sean Joe ,a former street kid lived as a neutral citizen for almost seven years until recently when he was officially confirmed a Zimbabwean .That put aside ,Tendai amazed a lot of people by how much he has managed to turn around his life into a young focused global change maker idolised by many.

In the first week of September ,Tendai Sean Joe is set to take off on a motorbike ride across 16 countries including Zimbabwe, Mozambique ,Malawi ,Tanzania ,Kenya ,Sudan and many more .Tendai will be backed by a film crew as well as some public figures including Boris Johnson the Mayor of London who has endorsed Tendai Sean Joe’s concept.

Many people who met Tendai in Zimbabwe are still to believe if the young man ,who has risen from a zero to a hero will actually pull off his latest dream ride ,which has already attracted many media houses including Mnet [Africa’s Top Satellite Channel] as well as many UK based TV stations as well as film gurus including Andy Wilson a film director who has worked with Angelina Jolie.

The modest looking Tendai said that he looks forward to raise more awareness and will hopefully make the world stand up and start working together for children .He says his latest effort is just the pacesetter; he looks forward to do some more greater projects supported by everyone who has children’s cause at heart.

During his ride Tendai and his riding partner will be sleeping in children’s homes, churches and juvenile centres .They hope to share stories with the children which they will document and then put together for TV and DVD release as a documentary with proceeds going back to charity.

Tendai ,who has done a couple of newspaper and radio interviews on both national ,regional and international media hopes to do more promos before he takes off on the Trail of Hope.
