Johannesburg -- Karin Kortjé is South Africa's new Idol. The 26-year-old mother from Grabouw and her fellow finalist, 21-year-old Gift Gwe, competed one last time tonight in an emotional final Live Extravaganza. Each of them sang three songs, supported by former Idols Anke Pietrangeli and Heinz Winckler.
This album has an out-and-out pop rock kind of feel to it, with tracks like Never; Sugar [my love]; Don’t Leave Home; Girl on a Roof and the title track itself:
